Bespoke illustration is a unique and personal way to communicate your brand personality through your brand touchpoints, in print and on screen.
Ian Sheekey, the founder and director of IS Accountancy, and I, have had so much fun working together in the development of his brand and its unique personality.
The illustrated maps were initially commissioned for use within the contact page on their website, featuring the main road numbers to assist potential clients in ‘navigating their numbers’.
The illustrated maps create a thoughtful, approachable and personable feel, celebrating local landmarks, providing navigation (including little details like where best to park) and they have already created a talking point! They formed part of the solution for new marketing material, in the form of a postcard – a perfect match for content and context. The postcards are featured at the much loved tourist attraction, the Army Flying Museum in Hampshire.
As part of IS Accountancy’s mission to do good through their work, they also support local charities. Including, becoming corporate adopters of the Horsa Glider at the Army Flying Museum; ‘The Horsa Glider represents one of the best examples of British Army flying aircraft navigation by numbers ever’.
To mark the occasion of corporate adoption, we incorporated a stylised stamp design as part of the postcard design, creating an illustration of the Horsa Glider in the brand illustrative style, keeping everything consistent in appearance, values aligned and a coherent brand voice.
